Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and the CodeIgniter framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define project requirements and specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while following best practices and coding standards.
- Develop user-friendly front-end interfaces using jQuery, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimize code for performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the continuous improvement of our products.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional web development experience using PHP and the CodeIgniter framework.
- Strong proficiency in jQuery, JavaScript, and Bootstrap for building responsive and interactive front-end interfaces.
- Solid understanding of MVC design patterns and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience with RESTful API integration and third-party libraries.
- Proven ability to write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Prior experience mentoring or leading junior developers is a plus.
